Our Story
birangdesign started with the goal of providing bespoke services to the Energy/Utilities industry to assist them in digitally transforming their processes and workflows to be as efficient as possible.
We are innovation champions, with skills in leadership, change management, CAD, engineering, design, and programming. Our experience is vast, with our team having worked for utilities and consulting firms and software companies.
At birangdesign, we want to do things a bit differently than others in our industry - we want to not only ensure that you receive a top-notch, high ROI product, but also have fun developing it along the way. Hard work and having fun do not have to be mutually exclusive. We enjoy the work we do - you should enjoy it too.

Arman Birang, P.E.
CEO/Founder/Owner

Mr. Birang is a high-performing, adaptive, and technology-focused leader and has 17+ years in the Utilities industry, with work in both Substations and Hydro Generation. To date, he has worked with 32 utilities and 46 engineering firms across the U.S. and internationally. He has worked with AutoCAD for 20+ years and worked with the Substation Design Suite from Spatial Business Systems for 9 years. He has worked for an engineering firm and a Utility, specifically specializing in Protection and Controls. He participated in the Seattle Management Association after participating in the Seattle Emerging Leaders program. He went to Seattle University and holds Bachelor's degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Applied Mathematics.
